There is a moment in nature when you are no longer an observer, you are a participant.

You are a living breathing part of a much larger whole. There is no self, you are connected to everything, the trees, water, the singing of the loons, the chill in the air. A hummingbird buzzes five feet in front of me, hovers there, and a silent understanding passes between us. Her message has been delivered, and suddenly she disappears so fast, I question whether or not she was ever there in the first place. The quiet noises of the background amplify into a symphony; the singing insects, conversations of birds, the stillness of the water, the slow movement of pine branches. I’ve moved into another frequency, and suddenly what I had only understood to be white noise, is a beautiful concert.

Profoundly, it occurs to me that it’s been playing all along…and not only can I hear it, but I am a part of it.

  1. Scruffy,
Being one with everything is Wonder and Magic and Peace…….the Communion ratchets up a bit when you figure out how to take it for a spin.

Of course, I’m all over da place, but careening about the universe is still fun, I expect to watch you whiz by any second now. πŸ™‚

  2. Tracy, you have reached a spiritual mental emotional point in your life and wonderfully, you will never be the same. Keep tuning in. Let your soul expand into everything. It is awe-inspiring when you “connect” and then begin to learn your special part in it all — the bigger picture. πŸ™‚

    Many congrats!
