  1. What. The. Fuck.

Seriously, what the fuck? Why would you do that? That picture, if it survives long enough (and it will because it’s on the internet) will cost every single one of those children thousands in therapy bills and fuck up their entire lives.

I mean, there are at least three counts of sodomy with a minor in that picture. Holy fuck balls, batman.

  2. I think it’s weird when I hear some families are nudists. Yes, the entire family. But for it to be displayed like this and them.. touching.. sick. This could count as child pornography. I know because I used to work in Eckerd’s photo lab.

    • First off, this photo is NOT pornograghic, this pic is nonsexual, nor graghic. Second thing. Modisty is a learned trait, not a natrual one. I would bet that they are eastern Europieon. Where family, and public nudity is not a taboo. Look at all the folks who have jumped to the conclution that this family is in need of therapy. I would say to all of you that are viewing this photo in a sexual way. You are the ones who need therapy. In the U.S. we have such closed minds, and a perverted veiw of nudity. We see nakedness, only in a sexual context.
On my father’s side, I am second generation American. My mother’s side has been here since 1635. Until I entered sixth grade, I was raised by my father’s side of the family. We lived in an eastern European community. Seeing each other nude, or in their underwear was common. When I visited my friends homes, I often seen their familys the same way. There wasn’t anything sexual about it. One time when I was 10, I was playing out in the rain with a friend (10). We returned to her home, and her mom saw us soaking wet, and covered in mud. Though I lived less then a half block away, she told us both to strip and get into the tub. Once we were clean, we played naked until my clothes were clean and dry. There wasn’t anything unatrual about it.
But when I lived with my mother, brother, & sister. I was called a perv if I changed my cothes without closing the door. Or if I slept in my underwear. My mother was such a prude about nudity, that I was punished for asking her to remove a sliver from my butt. My older brother would get so wond up over seeing a girl naked in a movie, or magazine. I was like, so what’s the big deal. When I wast 15, I was at a public pool a realy pretty teen girl lost her top. All the boys just stared and oogaled her. I was booed for giveing a towel to her.
Now who would you say are the ones with the distorted view of nudity?

      • Again, like it or not, this is America, and in America, this photo is totally fucked up. I think if there were no kids it would be funny, or if they were all just lined up naked holding hands it would just be awkwardly funny. The genital to ass stacked kids, and all of the stacking and re-adjusting that was indeed necessary to get the shot actually crosses the line for me. Top it off with the fact that it’s on the internet? Yeah, bad choice.

  3. my question is this…..who the hell would think it’s ok to photograph this??? what the hell is wrong them? so wrong on so many levels.

  4. Oh my. I don’t even know what I felt when I first looked at this picture! Conflicting responses of Incest, Cute, Gross, Funny, Abuse and Love all flitted through my brain at the same time. Interestingly, I showed this picture to my Taiwanese girlfriend and her first reaction was Funny. She didn’t think it was Sick – more Weird and Artsy than anything else. I’m wondering if cultural differences evoke varied responses to this. Anyone?

    • You raise a valid point. I love your list of conflicting first responses, I get that. As you know, I really like inappropriate, I live and breathe it and it’s typically where I find humor the funniest. With that said, at first glance, my face contorted between laughter and mortification. I think if there were no kids it would be funny, or if they were all just lined up naked holding hands it would just be awkwardly fucked up. The genital to ass stacked kids, and all of the stacking and re-adjusting that was indeed necessary to get the shot actually crosses the line for me. I didn’t even know I had a line anymore, but I do, therefore my conscience is intact.
Thanks for your thought provoking comment.

      • WOW! Tracy Fulks has a line??? The Devil must be playing ice hockey!!!….lol
Seriously though, I do get the point about re-adjusting – it is a little weird. Also, I’m imagining what would have happened if one of the kids was a young teenage boy, and the photographer was a super hot model type babe. Hideously Awkward!

    • It’s a very strange situation. Not one I would put myself into for sure. The initial reaction is horror and disgust as we, of course are programmed to be repulsed and upset by anything like this involving kids.

One may say its innocent, but honestly I wonder how having someone naked, then laying on top of them so that my hips were firmly against their butt could be taken as not sexual! I couldn’t get around that, but then again, not everyone is the same and perhaps it’s not a sexual thing for some.

Then even if it is bordering a sexual / sensual thing, who among us can define if its good, bad or a personal choice. Granted, some of these kids might end up with issues, but is that because of the act being horrendous or because of all of us telling them that this was such a horrible thing and if so, does this make it our fault?

I am not voicing an opinion here, but rather throwing it out there for people to give an opinion on different angles.

      • Mike,
you raise some valid points. Regardless of whether or not those kids are fucked up because of the social norms, society is what it is, the parents know this and are subjecting their kids to the scrutiny. That in itself is fucked up…in my opinion…which makes it right.
        Thanks for commenting,
        Tracy

      • I have to agree with you on that. Sometimes you have to just look at the bottom line and I guess the bottom line is what you say, society is what it is, and this will be deemed screwy by the majority. Unless ALL your friends are Tetris nudists, people in your life will give you grief for being part of this.

  5. If you have the nudist mindset that naked does not equal sexy times, you can let the ridiculous baggage go. The kids are all young enough that if they were mine I’d think nothing of showering with them and vice versa. I think it’s cute and not inappropriate for a nudist/naturist family.

    • ravinj,
I knew someone would have to take the other side, congratulations on that. I actually know a few real-life nudists, I showed it to one of them and they too thought it was fucked up. I get the innocence of nudity and the idea of sexualizing something that should just be pure and natural. I have no problem with that. If they were all holding hands or even sitting next to each other it would just be awkwardly fucked up, but not a big deal. And showering with them is one thing, but the stacking…for a photograph, that is not private, for others to see, is another.

  6. Surely someone out there somewhere knows these people. We have to track them down and ask them WHY? And furthermore, how did this photo get “leaked”? “Did you see your cousin Julie’s Christmas card?” “Yeah! Why would anyone ever do that? How ’bout we scan it and forward it to everyone we know?”

  7. I hate to bring this up, but as disturbing as this end result is, I can’t help but think of all the disturbancia (word?) that happened to create this image…I mean we don’t see all their goods but brother and sister, mother and son certainly did, you have to stand to lay down, as a photog I know that posing doesn’t just happen, you have adjust, readjust, get up, adjust again. that’s a lot of naked and jangling. and breastfeeding in between to get everyone to those happy faces. PS. where’s your photog credit? geez, doesn’t anyone honor copyrights anymore? 😉 obviously kidding, I hope the yahoo who took this is deeply medicated or already doing her community service.

    • 40toes,
you make a good point. thinking about all of the numerous adjustments just made me throw up in my mouth. The devils advocate in me wants to see the whole free spirit hippie nudity thing as ok, but it just isn’t. like, at all. If they were all standing naked holding hands it would be a more acceptable level of fucked up, but adults and children stacked in a pile genital to ass is seriously disturbing, and ultimately fucking wrong, on a thousand levels.
As far as the copyright, dear god i wish i had one to credit. it was anonymously posted and if at any point i am able to find out who took it, not only will i credit them, but i will contact them with a list of questions.
      thanks for commenting.

  8. Two thoughts (well, at least two that I’m willing to share):
    1. I truly hope that this was actually photoshopped.
    2. If not, I hope that it was at least taken with a timer. I cannot imagine there was another person witnessing this that thought, “Hey this is a great idea!”. If there was, hopefully he/she was clothed.

      • I never even thought about all of the readjusting getting that photo would take. I read 40toes’ comment and realized the error of my ways, LOL.

I must admit, I was remiss in that I never read any other comments prior to posting my own.. I got a little lazy. I went back and read them and noticed that most people think that this is a family of nudists. I never thought that. I just thought they were trying to be “artistic”. Do we know that they are nudists? I don’t think that their being nudists changes anything, I’m just curious now.

  9. I need to gouge out my eyes, and burn my brain…. I don’t want to see or remember this….

    it.disturbs.me.

    • But on a serious note: I mean, really? What thoughts went through their heads? What made them think, “Wow, I think being naked with our children piled naked on top of us is a great idea!” I mean, I can’t think of any good reasons, let alone just plain ‘reasons’, for that…

  10. I’m traumatized. I’ve been reading through everyone’s comments and I agree to that pole-to-hole or hole-to-hole action is serious weirding me out. Because honestly, no matter what you say, someone’s genitals are touching their intermediate blood related family’s asshole. The baby may be the only one that’s save-able.

  11. Look at the back ground. You will notice that they are most likly in a studio. I would lay money that this photo was part of an art exibit, or book. Photagraphers like Mann, and Hamilton are best known for such works. Both are widly praised, and scorned for their dipictions of children, and family nudity. The scorn is mainly in the U.S. which is based in cultural bias. Wich is clearly displayed in the comments.
Some suggest that this was done for shock value. I would say it wasn’t origenaly meant for that. But the posting of it on facebook, and here was meant to shock. As evident by the posters comments.
America as a whole, has a very screwed up sence of morality. We sre quick to critizie a family that poses nude together in a photo. But we are OK with kids being taught how to put on a condom in primary school. We let our preteen girls run around wearing mini skerts and g-strlngs while sporting a shirt with sexgestive sayings on them. We let kids play vidio games were the goal is to steal, kill and sell drugs. We accep abortion as birth control. But oppose death sentances for murders, and rapists.

My point is. Those who live in glass houses, should not throw stones.

    • Soooo, are you saying that this is ok… Just because there are worse things out there? Or are you ok with stacking on child naked on another and then photographing them, then putting it on the Internet? For the record, I don’t let my kids play violent video games, I don’t believe abortion is an ok substitute for contraceptives nor do I let my kids wear provocative clothes. I could go on and on but you perhaps see my point.

    • No one is advocating any of the things you mention. The fact is, like it or not, this is America, and in America, this photo is totally fucked up. I think if there were no kids it would be funny, or if they were all just lined up naked holding hands it would just be awkwardly fucked up. The genital to ass stacked kids, and all of the stacking and re-adjusting that was indeed necessary to get the shot actually crosses the line for me. Top it off with the fact that it’s on the internet? Yeah, bad choice.

  12. Now think of this picture with the tekst: “Family discount on Brazilian Wax at Wax On, Wax Off beauty salon!”
I apologize for this comment, this is just how my brain works once it sees shit like this.
